I’m fairly certain that this is how every meeting Inside the writer’s room of Battlestar Galactica starts:
“Ok guys, which characters’ lives can we completely ruin even more than we’ve already done?”

And that is why BSG is my most favorite show ever in existence.

You know, people say to me, “Hey Marissa, you like this Star Trek thing, why don’t you watch some quality BSG with me?” And I say, “No no no, my friend. Star Trek is a fantasia in which, by 5 to the hour, everything is back to the way it should be, and the only people who die are nameless ensigns or people who’ve declined to sign on for another season. Your BSG is far too realistic and upsetting. Bother me no more.”
