This weekend I was hurt by something someone said (or more accurately, the way they said it). I started into my usual passive-agressive scheming, and that really didn’t help.
After thinking about ways to get back at this person, I realized that the best thing I could do would be to just stand up and confront them. Now, this may seem like a pretty logical next step, but for me it’s kind of a big deal. I’m so used to just talking about things to myself and to my friends, rather than the people who need to hear it, that it was a kind of a shock when I had that thought.
And I acted on it. I called this person out. And you know what? It felt good.

You know what you should have done? Run the mu’fucka over with a monorail. It DOES make everything better! :–)
